Easy Tips for Wearing Red Lipstick
Red lipstick is classic, elegant, versatile. And with these guidelines, everyone (yes, that means you) can wear it. 1.Consider the lighting. "If you're going to be outdoors, pick a softer or sheerer shade," says Rachel Lockhart, owner of Rachel's Makeup Studio, in Boston. "For evening, go bolder, so your features stand out." 2.Avoid deep reds if you have thin lips. They tend to make lips look smaller. 3.Experiment with intense shades if you have strong coloring. "Natural contrast gives you more options," says Jill Morton, head of ColorCom, a consultation agency in Honolulu, says of those with exaggerated natural coloring (for example, paper-white skin, black hair, and blue eyes). 4.Don't play up your eyes. "Pair red lipstick with the lightest possible eye makeup," says lipstick designer Poppy King. A little mascara and beige shadow will do. 5.Don't toss a red lipstick in a shade that doesn't work. "Top it with a gold gloss to warm and soften it, or add a pink gloss to take it to the bluer side," says makeup artist Maria Verel. 6.Coordinate your look. Dot a little smudge of the lipstick on the apples of your cheeks, then blend it with your fingers. 7.Be precise. That means whether you're using a brush or applying lipstick straight from the tube. "Red lipstick should never be applied casually in the back of a taxi," says Verel. 8.Don't use red lip liner. If it doesn't match your lipstick perfectly (and odds are it won't), you'll end up with a two-tone effect. If you like using liner, find a shade that's close to your natural lip color and use it to outline your lips. 9.Prevent "bleeding." Apply a little concealer around the border of your mouth. 10.Avoid getting lipstick on your teeth. After applying, put your finger in your mouth, purse your lips around it, then slowly pull it out to remove excess color.
Eyes- Create the smokey eye
We all love a smoky eye. Here are some tips to make sure you are executing it perfectly! Of course start with a clean face. Prep your skin with eye cream and moisturizer. Give them a few minutes to sink in. Concealer is a huge deal when trying to pull off a dramatic eye. The natural darkness around your eyes will make your overall makeup look sloppy. Conceal above and below your eyes, paying special attention to the inner and outer corners (this is where darkness lurks!) 1. Liner Use a dark liner – cream or pencil – and line your eye from end to end on the upper lid. Make the line thinner at the inner corner then gradually thicken it towards the outer end. Rim the lower inner lid as well. 2. Smudge it up! Use an angled eyeliner brush, a pencil brush or a Q-tip to smudge the liner you have just applied. The point is to blur the hard edge of your eyeliner. You can dip your brush in a bit of dark shadow and use it to soften the liner if it does not blend out easily (that’s what I do). Do this on the top and bottom. Blend the outer halves of your eyes more than the center or inner corners. 3. Highlight to make it pop It’s so important to create contrast. I know, a lot of smokey eyes look like they are only one deep shade of color swiped across the entire lid, but if done well, this is not actually the case. Use a light color of shadow – think champagnes, vanillas, or creams – and highlight the inner corner of your eye (in a C shape around the tear duct) and under the brow. 4 . Medium Shadow for depth This is the step many people miss. A medium shadow, something in the same color family as your lid color, but lighter, should be used in the crease. You’re trying to create depth without leaving any obvious lines. It’s important to overlap the dark and medium shades where they meet. Use the same medium tone to blend the outer portion of your lower lid. And voila you’re done! Don’t think black is the only way to go...Smoke up purple, blue, or green liners and shadows with the same technique. This is also a great way to incorporate your uniform colors ;)

Tips for applying Performance Cosmetics
Show Sparkle: First apply Show Seal to the desired location with the sponge tip applicator, and then dip the applicator into the pot of glitter and PAT on your glitter until the entire area is covered. With a cosmetic brush, brush away any excess glitter. Show Seal: This product can be used with Show Sparkles, Show Shimmers, and Glitter Stars. Apply Show Seal to the desired location then pat on the desired product. For best results, wipe applicator off between dips to keep product fresh. Glitter Lips: First, apply the lipstick/gloss of your choice and pat on the Show Sparkle over top. Shimmer Paint: Apply to lid or brow area and allow a few seconds to dry. Shimmer paint can be used with Show Sparkle and Show Shimmer products, being patted over the top of paint while paint is still wet. Removal of makeup is easy. Soap and warm water or even a baby wipe will do.
Glitter Makeup that is FUN and EASY to apply
Tired of cosmetic glitter that falls off or clumps? The best way to avoid this is by using tried and true tested products that work! Proper application of these products is also essential to getting the desired look you are trying to achieve. Let’s begin by using liquid Show Seal (eye shadow base). First, you would apply Show Seal to the desired area with the sponge tip applicator; a thin layer is all that is needed. Less is more in this situation. After, dip the applicator into the desired Show Sparkle of your choice. Pat the glitter where you applied the Show Seal until every part of that area is covered. If you merely just wipe on the glitter it will not have the desired look that patting achieves. Brush away any excess that may have fallen when applying product. In addition, to keep your products fresh, always wipe off sponge tip applicator before re-dipping into the Show Seal bottle.
